Provide instructions on what we need to do when we arrive for the motor vehicle test.

Steve MergedIf a driver's license ties to a handicapped plate, ask if the driver needs to use a walker, etc. (whatever triggered the clerk to print a "Medical Examination Form"). Send the form to their e-mail so they don't have to schedule a second trip to the OMV. You might even supplement the clerk's training by teaching them what questions to ask so that you don't waste citizen and medical time on top of the wasted OMV time.

Patrick NormandClarify what type of Social Security information is needed. The OMV website says that Social Security numbers can be provided verbally. The OMV person in Hahnville insisted that a Social Security card, or other Social Security provided document with that number had to be provided. Please clarify the requirement or retrain the OMV person in Hahnville.

To get a REAL ID in Louisiana, provide:
1. Proof of identity (current driver’s license or state-issued picture ID)
2. Proof of lawful status in USA (passport or birth certificate)
3. Two proofs of residence (utility bills or bank statements with your name and address)
4. Birth date
5. Social Security number

This could also be posted on a sign at OMV. Three other people in the waiting room were missing the same proof of residence as me. -

Lacey MergedOn the email received about my appointment, I believe it would be helpful to add a hyper link with the image of your logo so upon clicking the logo you are taken to the omv website. Making it easier for people to review what documents are needed at the appointment.

Michael MergedI scheduled and met an appointment at OMV, but I walked to the appointment. I did not have my driving glasses with me. After having waited days for the appointment, I had to walk back home. I went back to the website to check if there was a specific instruction to bring driving glasses. I could find none. Please remind people that not only are you getting a real ID, you are renewing all aspects of the licensure, including a vision exam.
